Numbers Revolution combines existing learning tools and educational philosophies and distills them into a cohesive and effective curriculum. Numbers Revolution transforms math from an intimidating and rigid process of rote memorization into a fun, creative and adaptive process that can be understood by students, parents and teachers.
By using physical objects, colors and letters (the code), numbers are demystified for even the earliest learners. Numbers Revolution embraces and utilizes children's innate curiosity and ability to learn language, along with the brain's preference for retaining images presented in color, instead of black and white, and uses it to introduce students to a range of mathematical concepts from counting up to basic algebra.
Numbers Revolution also recognizes the importance of tracking and measuring a student's progress. The first and second volumes of the Numbers Revolution Work-A-Book are designed so that a student is not introduced to a new concept until they demonstrate mastery of all subsequent concepts. A guiding philosophy of this system is that students who lack mastery of previous concepts will grow frustrated and will expect and accept failure when new concepts are introduced. Success and mastery is expected of all students, but at their own pace and achieved in a way that is meaningful and sustainable for that student.

ABOUT THE CREATORS OF NUMBERS REVOLUTION
Created by educators who know that anybody can learn math.
Edwin Fava Jr. is a retired elementary school administrator with a deep background in Special Education and Early Childhood Education. In his almost 50 years of teaching experience he has witnessed and utilized numerous methods for introducing math to young learners. He developed the Numbers Revolution System in response to the confusion and frustration many children have with math and how it hinders them as they progress in school and in life.
Diane McDonald has a BA in fine art and a minor in graphic design. She worked as a graphic designer for 17 years and a fine art teacher for K-12 in public schools for 18 years.
